We understand that sometimes you or your family are unable to make a scheduled appointment due to unforeseen circumstances.  Missing an appointment of course prevents us from giving you the care you need, however, cancelling within 24 hours of your scheduled visit, or missing/arriving late to your appointment also prevents us from scheduling another patient who needs care.

 

The Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) is our publicly funded health care program.  Your providers are compensated based on the care they provide.  When you do not present for your appointment, or cancel on short notice so that we are not able to book another individual into that spot, OHIP does not compensate that time.  Like many small businesses in Ontario, we do not operate at a profit.
